Assista a babysitter and cleaner booking app

A two-sided mobile marketplace: families book a babysitter or a cleaner in a few steps, and both sides rate each other when the job is done.

For families with young children, childcare and housework take up much of the day, and finding a babysitter or cleaner you can trust usually comes down to word of mouth and a lot of phone calls. Assista moved that search into a free mobile app.

Customers sign in with Facebook or email, pick the service and fill in the details: for babysitting, the number of children and hours; for cleaning, the size of the home and the tasks needed (ironing, laundry, window cleaning, outdoor cleaning), plus the address and time. They then browse the available providers, each listed with an introduction, experience, qualifications, languages and their own rates (per child per hour, or per square metre). The price is shown straight away from the answers.

Each order follows the whole process: the provider accepts or declines it, the customer confirms once the job is done, and the system settles the fee together with the booking commission and invoicing details. Finally both sides rate each other with stars and a written review, so the next families can choose on that basis. A separate admin interface handles approving providers and overseeing orders.
