Instant payments by QR code

Anonymised case (NDA)

QR-code instant payments to the national standard: customer app, merchant console and settlement on a single platform.

For the customer, an instant payment is just scanning a QR code. Behind it, the code has to meet the standard, every message and signature has to be verified, and every transaction has to stay traceable afterwards. A mistake here can cause a stuck payment and extra support work for the merchant.

We built the whole platform: the customer app with saved payment methods, the merchant console where each merchant sees only their own data, settlement and dispute handling. A separate layer talks to the payment network, so going live does not mean touching the finished, standard-conformant parts.

The client got everything from a single source: an architect designed and supervised the system, and AI agents did the development. The client's name is withheld under a confidentiality agreement, which is also why we show no screenshots.

Planning a payment or banking system? Tell us which standard it needs to meet and which systems it has to connect to.

Founder, agentic software engineering

At Appific, we have used an AI-agent-based development system since 2024: the agents work within strict technical rules, while a specialist decides on the system's structure and accepts the result. I have more than twenty years of experience as a software developer and architect; I previously worked on fintech systems. I now put that experience to use designing systems, reviewing them and managing their technical risks.
