CAFE an organizational change framework

An integrated methodology and toolbox for managing organizational change and change agility, from leaders to consultants.

Leading organizational change often relies on scattered tools and theory that is hard to apply in practice. Leaders, project managers, change specialists and outside consultants frequently speak different languages, with no shared framework tying together who plays what role and which tool to use when.

CAFE is an integrated methodology and toolbox that splits the leadership of change into three areas: setting direction (strategy development, revising purpose and vision), making change happen (strategic and organizational transformation, change process management), and keeping it alive (strategic agility, change portfolio management, continuous development). Each area comes with its own tools, from diagnostics through decision-making to communication, all held together by the same six change principles.

Five courses build on the framework, from strategic change leadership for executives to training for HR and change-support professionals, and a growing network of partners in culture diagnostics, decision-making and leadership development keeps it evolving.

We developed the framework's website and the content management system (CMS) behind it.

Founder, agentic software engineering

At Appific, we have used an AI-agent-based development system since 2024: the agents work within strict technical rules, while a specialist decides on the system's structure and accepts the result. I have more than twenty years of experience as a software developer and architect; I previously worked on fintech systems. I now put that experience to use designing systems, reviewing them and managing their technical risks.
