onlinePénztárca a shared discount network for online shops

A shared discount balance that grows from purchases made at partner stores and can be used when shopping online.

Different online stores' own loyalty schemes are usually unconnected, so a discount or credit earned at one store cannot be used at another.

onlinePénztárca gives shoppers one shared balance that grows at every partner store: after a purchase, and with a small top-up every week on top of that. The available discount already shows on the product page, and one click applies it at checkout - free to open, no monthly fee. Inviting a friend adds credit to both accounts.

The system is still available today: it's accepted by numerous Hungarian web shops, from garden and DIY stores to clothing, home appliances and books.

I now put that experience to use designing systems, reviewing them and managing their technical risks.
